Sumanta Khan has a background in information technology and holds degrees in engineering from universities in India. After working for companies in India's Silicon Valley, Mr Khan joined British Telecom in London in 1997 and then moved to Newcastle where he worked for Electronic Data Systems. Career : Entrepreneur Sumanta Khan, 37, converted what remained of the former Snowball's store, a Gateshead landmark which was described as the Harrods of the North in 2007 to create the £1m million Raval..
