Education : Studied as a computer engineer at Oxford Brookes University in 1992.

Career : Opened his first restaurant in Oxford in 1993 and in Salisbury in 1997. 1998 he opened in Dorcester then Shaftesbury in 2002 and Amesbury in 2005. Relocated Anokaa in Salisbury in May 2004 to bring quality Indian cuisine.

Head Chef is Vijindra Singh Rawat(Vijay), well able to respond to the Anglo-Indian craving for the best of what has been termed as The Anokaa Revolution, and a former exponent of his art at The Taj Mahal Hotel in Lucknow. It's also worth checking out so-called 'innovative dishes' such as Mauritian-style grilled lobster served with Rajastani shingri beans.
