Born in 1970.
Career : Decided at the age of 18 that he wanted to create a
restaurant group and that it would be called Akbars after his
father. In 1995 the dream was realised with the opening of a small
restaurant, seating 28, on Leeds Road, Bradford. Since then, through
sheer enthusiasm, determination and hard work, the restaurant has
never looked back, always going from strength to strength. Followed
by two branches in Leeds city centre then in 2006 another in
Manchester then York
The next venue was a 300-seater eatery close to Meadowhall shopping
centre, Sheffield, in 2007. Beyond that he has plans to grow further
afield to Birmingham, Glasgow and London.
