Career : When Sergio Stefanuto opened his first restaurant in 1971, he couldn’t have imagined how successful he would become. Now, over 35 years later he has a grand total of seven restaurants under his watchful eye and is known throughout the north west as one of the leading lights in Italian cuisine. San Rocco Hale is the newest addition to the family. The modern bar and restaurant set in Hale village offers authentic Italian cuisine with a great atmosphere. Sergio Stefanuto opened the first of his restaurants, Cesare (now San Rocco) on South King Street Manchester, hoping to build a solid reputation based on authentic Italian food and he seems to have achieved that aim.
