Career : Was Head Chef at Peppers in Birmingham. Went to The Silk Road Restaurant, Milton Keynes is owned and managed by Subhojit Chakravarty, who trained as a chef in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) before working in some of the sub-continent's top 5 Star hotels, including the Orchid hotel in Delhi. Silk Road offers eciting Pan Asian cuisine. Opened May 2006. Guests included invited guests Phil Gerella (Mayor of MK), Luke Ashmead (BBC 3CR), Vince Macaulay (MK Lions) and Tony Sellers (MK Web) September 2008 opened Calcutta Brasserie in Stony Stratford in wonderful listed building.
