Born April 1964

Career : Obtained a diploma in Hotel Management from IIHM Pusa, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition and started career in the ITDC under their kitchen management scheme.

After working in several hotels he became Executive Chef of the Centaur Hotel in Mumbai. His TV Show Khana Khazana has appeared on Zee TV since 1993 and he has authored many books including Khazana of Indian Recipes, Khazana of Healthy Tasting Recipes, Low Calorie Vegetarian Cookbook, Any Time Temptations, Microwave Made Easy and Best Chinese Cooking and Khana Khazana Celebration of Indian Cokkery.

His TV show won Best Cookery Show in 2001 and he is recipient of the Best Executive Chef of India Award by H & FS and the Mercury Gold Award at Geneva by IFCA. Helped create Shahi Thali for Singapore Airlines in 2006

Started own Hindi TV Channel FoodFood in January 2011.
