Career : As managing director of S&A Foods, Perween Warsi has become one of the richest Asian women in Britain. - Starts S&A Foods in 1986 - Sells to Hughes Food in 1987 - Regains control in 1991 - Builds new £8m factory in 1996 - 1995 Wins Woman Entrepreneur of the World Award.1997 Appointed to the Department of Trade & Industry Advisory Committee on Competitiveness. Awarded Honorary MBA by University of Derby.

1998 Appointed to HM Government Advisory Committee on Competitiveness. 1999 Joins Derbyshire Board of The Prince’s Youth Business Trust and is elected to the Court of Honorary Members, as Doctor of Business Administration, by The International Management Centres (IMC).Appointed to the East Midlands Board of the CBI. 2000 Awarded Nottingham Trent University Honorary degree, Doctor of Business Administration (DBA).2001 Wins Best in Britain(BIBA) Industry personality award

Receives MBE in 1997 and CBE in 2002 - Clients include Asda, Safeway, Waitrose and Sainsbury's. She was also named as one of Britain's Top 50 Most Powerful Women.
