Entries into the Restaurant Hall of Fame will be added to on a daily basis between now and December 2008 to celebrate the opening of the first ethnic restaurants appearing in Britain.

OUR MISSION : To mark the achievements, contributions and commitment of men and women in and around the Ethnic Restaurant sector and to preserve the history of the tremendous efforts behind the industry we see today.

The Restaurant Hall of Fame is edited by Peter & Colleen Grove, editors of Mood Food Magazine & previously, Menu Magazine who, between them, have many years experience in the ethnic food & drink industries and international journalism.

* Their experience includes working for Daily Mail, Daily Express, Spice n’Easy, Masala & Menu Magazine. They have also edited The Real Curry Restaurant Guide, The Oriental Restaurant Guide, The Italian Restaurant Guide & Mood Food Restaurant Guide for many years.

* They also appear as experts on television & radio as well as being food historians with two successful books.

* They provide sector market research for several national companies and media as well as comments on the present and future condition of the industry.

* Authors of best-selling book ‘Curry Culture – A very British love affair’ - “Historians uncover secret of Britain’s first man of curry” (Daily Telegraph)

* Organisers of National Curry Week, Curry Capital of Britain and Best in Britain Awards (BIBA).

* Operate several major websites including www.menu2menu.com and www.menumagazine.co.uk.

* As well as being food writers they are also both members of The Sports Journalists Association.
