Owner Neelofar Khan

Career : Owner of Chilli Chutney in Streatham via Village Cuisine Ltd. Five years ago, with her children growing older, Neelofar decided to look into opening her own business. “I had two ideas in mind, one was a restaurant and one was a nursery, a children’s nursery and for various reasons I choose the restaurant”. Chilli Chutney opened in 2003 specialising in Lahori cuisine. Before giving it up to care for her children, she spent 13 years working in sales and marketing. Winner of award from European Federation of Black Women Business Owners. Very active in charity fund raising and staff education and skills improvement. October 2010 closed Streatham outlet due to rapid rent rises but retains operations in Croydon. Fellow of Restaurant Hall of Fame (FRHF)
