campaign is swiftly gathering support. Said, Dr Moula, "Everyone
can tell the difference between Vietnamese and Chinese food and,
thanks to the campaign, people will now be able to distinguish the
differences between Bangladeshi and Indian food". Moula is the
first to iterate that the campaign has nothing against Indian
restaurants nor their owners but Bangladeshi restaurateurs should be
stringently marketing their own identify with pride. Since its
inauguration, the campaign has attracted such luminaries as Sir John
Major and the former prime minister of Bangladesh, Begum Khaleda Zia.
Former British High Commissioner of Bangladesh, Dr. A FM Yusuf also
lent his support. MPs from across the political spectrum joined
forces with many celebrities to wish the venture well ably covered by
the world media. .
