Career : Owner of Olivo and Oliveto and the new Olivomare in Lower Belgrave Street which was a runner-up in the Time Out Best Newcomer category in 2008. This corner of Belgravia now contains three Sardinian restaurants owned by the irrepressible Mauro Sanna. Owner Mauro Sanna has built up a loyal clientele over the years, culled from the area's wealthy inhabitants and launched the career of Giorgio Locatelli. Chefs hail from Sardinia and the food has a strong regional footprint. Mauro Sanna reputedly introduced Londoners to the delights of bottarga (dried mullet roe) and it puts in an appearance as part of a classic spaghetti dish.
