1960's and set up business in Leicester, initially in the electrical
sector. Friends was opened in 1982 by the well respected T.S. Pabla
who unfortunately passed away in February 2001.
Sons Bobby and Manjit have been very involved in the restaurant and
with Bobby concentrating on the kitchen, Manjit focused on Front of
House once his University studies were over.
The restaurant won a 'Best in Britain Award" in 1999 and is very
well thought of locally.
Friends has now been sold and in 2008 Manjit is primarily working
with an established firm and looking to grow in the area of Sponsor
Licences and to establish an office in Delhi. This will enable him to
assist prospective employees complete their visa applications, advice
