Owner Malik Ahmed

Career : Owner of 70 seater Malik's in Cookham with wife Farhana in an old Coaching Inn by the River Thames. Malik Ahmed transformed an Italian restaurant previously on the site in 1999 and it has become the favourite of locals and celebrities alike with a reputation for fantastic food. Super-chef Heston Blumenthal's favourite curry place In 2005 Malik's was awarded two rosettes in The AA Restaurant Guide. Has won awards at British Curry Awards 2005/2006/2007 and 'Best in South East' in 2008 and has opened a new branch at Gerrads Cross.
