Born in Bangladesh. Career : Ran Jaipur very successfully from 1988 in Milton Keynes and gained numerous awards but always had a dream to create something special. This came when the new Jaipur opened on a virgin plot a short distance away in Milton Keynes and became the biggest purpose-built Indian restaurant in Europe. Since then the restaurant has won numerous awards including Best in Britain (BIBA) Top 30 2004-2007. In 2006 he opened The Orchid Lounge at Jaipur on the top level of the huge domed building to bring exotic Thai cuisine to Milton Keynes. It was such a success that it was named Best UK Oriental Asian Restaurant by the Curry Club in 2007 and Best Thai Restaurant of the Year 2007 by BIBA. Fellow of Restaurant Hall of Fame
