Kuldeep Singh AHCIMA

Born 15 December 1965 in New Delhi.

Education : Post graduate of Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology in Bombay. Worked at Taj Hotels and specialises in Rajasthani, Hyderabadi, Kerala and Malabar coastal cuisine.

Career : He has worked in the Handi at the Taj Palace Intercontinental, the Haveli at the Taj Mahal and the Essex Restaurant Complex in New Delhi, the Mermaid Barbecue at the West End in Bangalore, the Meru Palace in Jaipur, the Gateway Hotel in Hyderabad and the Southern Star in Mysore.

Kuldeep began in London at the semi-legendary Red Fort the joined Soho Spice in 1997 and started Mela in Shaftesbury Avenue in 2000. Partner in the Mela Group including Mela, Chowki, Soho Spice & 3 Monkeys and Dilli in Altrincham. Partners with Rominder Malhotra, Executive Chef of the group, Ashraf Rahman and Dinesh Modi.

The latest venture is a major takeaway service from kitchens based in Bromley. Taken over by The Indian Restaurant Group in Julu 2008.
