Career : Saran Rom modelled after Bangkok’s Vimanmek Palace opened 2006 in Chelsea as the lifetime dream of Bangkok born Kobchok. He launched the Siam Food Galleries in Esher and Virginia Waters in 2000 and 2001 and Saran Rom overlooking the Thames is the flagship. Immediately gained a good following for its luxurious setting and food but a little out of the way for passing trade. Reported to have run into financial problems 2007 and taken over by Blue Elephant 2008. Kobchok is on the right of this group with Thai Ambassador.
