Career : Kaushy learned cooking from her grandmother and her
family opened their vegetarian restaurant, Prashad in Bradford
in 2004. The family run restaurant actually opened in 1986 but only
became 'seated' in 2004. Mrs Kaushy Patel and her family started out
by selling vegetarian snacks and sweetmeats in this modest corner site
Kaushy Patel's refreshing blend of Gujarati, Punjabi and south Asian
vegetarian cooking has made a big impact on diners and critics alike
leading to being awarde Yorkshire Forward Chef of the Year 2004 &
2006 and SACC 2005 & 2006. |
