Jiwan Lal

Career : Said to be one of the best modern Indian chefs working in Britain today.

Punjabi and trained with the Oberoi Group in India and was puy in charge of the continental section of a multi-cuisine restaurant including Italian and French food. Then was put in charge of the Indian section at Oberoi's Cecil Hotel in Simla.

Moved to UK and worked at Poppadoms in Brentford before becoming Head Chef at the multi award winning Babur Brasserie in London SE23 in 2005.

Has been complimented by chefs and critics for his innovative cuisine and numerous successful Festivals of the many cuisine of the Indian sub-continent.

Opened his own restaurant Cinnamon Culture in Bromley in association with Manpreet Dhingra in March 2011.
