Born in India. Daughter Anita. Education : Grew up in Bombay whre she read Law at University before marrying and moving to Trinidad. Has lived in Britain since 1979 Career : Creator and Director of Geeta's Foods Ltd. Geeta's Premium Mango Chutney was introduced to UK supermarket shelves in 1990 and she launched curry house pastes in 2002. Awards : 1995 Runner up Business Woman of the Year 1998 Geeta's Mango Chutney won the Good Food Retailing Gold Award 2002 Shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year in the Asian Women of Achievement Awards 2002. 2003 Bengali Curry Creations Cooking Pastes won gold in the Good Taste Awards. Garlic Pickle wins gold in the Good Taste Awards.
