Owner Deepak Kapoor

The family hails from Goa where Shusma Kapoor 'Ma' grew up and Mumbai where she met husband Raj. Career : Mr & Mrs Kapoor opened Ma Goa in Upper Richmond Road in 1993 to be a real family run restaurant based around 'Ma's' cooking. This was home-style cooking at its best with the experise of Ma and almost larger than lfe mein host Mr Kapoor. It was immediately well received and went on to win critical acclaim. When his father died suddenly son Deepak stepped up to continue the family tradition by running the restaurant and supporting his mother. A second branch in Fulham was opened in 2006.
