Owners Charlotte & Cristiano Chiarin

Career : Owners of the fashionable L'Incontro in Pimlico Roas, London. Charlotte is the daughter of well known restaurateur Gino Santin. The restaurant was re-furbished in 2000 and is famous for its Venetian cuisine from Chef Simone Rettorre. Opened in January 1987 by Gino Santin, the restaurant is now run by Cristiano & Charlotte who have put their own stamp on it. Apparently Robert de Niro, Al Pacino, Bernardo Bertolucci, Franco Zefferelli and Valentino have all enjoyed a plate or two of pasta here. Over the years the restaurant has attracted stars of music, theatre, film, politics and sport. Recently, Condoleezza Rice turned up for dinner escorted by fifteen burly FBI men which caused a stir in the usually low key environs of Pimlico Road.
