Born in Singapore Career : Founder and owner of Ikan in Manchester's Portland Street opened 2005/6. The restaurant is the larger version of a smaller operation (Ikan Baby) in Sackville Street strated in 2003. Helped by daughter Deborah. When she's not at the restaurant, the attractive and knowledgeable Catherine is flying home to the Far East on fact-finding missions for the latest innovations in Thai cuisine, Chinese fusion and dim sum.
