Brendan Speed

 

Career : Executive Chef at Chinese Cricket Club at the Crowne Plaza in London. Brendan Speed launched and subsequently ran Zuma Istanbul for two years, helping it become one of the city’s most lauded restaurants and the recipient of a host of awards. Before opening Zuma, Brendan was Executive Chef at Movenpick Hotels and Resorts in both Istanbul and Dar Es Salaam.

Brendan’s remarkable career has taken him all over the world, from Tanzania to Queensland. This global experience, combined with a life-long passion for Asian cuisine and a desire to experiment with different textures, flavours and ingredients, have all been brought to bear on the menu at Chinese Cricket Club.
