Bishal was born in a small Nepalese village where he lived with his
parents and his sister.
Career : After school and college, Bishal eventually decided
to take up the cooking more seriously and trained through the Indian
government ITC chef training scheme which is a 4 year apprenticeship
based on working in 5 star hotels in India. He was eventually
headhunted from the Taj Sherraton in Mumbai to work in London. During
his training he worked alongside the world famous Master Chef Imtiaz
Qureshi in Bombay.
Bishal worked at the world famous "Chutney Mary's"
restaurant in London for a couple of years before coming to
Lancashire to become Headchef of "Victoria's India"
restaurant in Longridge.
The became Head Chef for Pushkar in Birmingham and won 'Best Chef' at
the Best of Broad Street Awards in 2010 |
