Education : Asad Khan was born in Leicester and came to Surrey
at the age of twelve. He was educated at Wallington County Grammar
and graduated from the London Westminster Business School, Marylebone.
Career : 26 year old owner and consultant chef of India Dining
in Warlingham opened 2003. Second branch in Hinchley Wood and third
planned for Epsom.
After working at Vodafone PLC by day and the Multi Award Winning
Cinnamon Club at night for three years, in August 2003 he set up his
own restaurant in Warlingham India Dining, that specialised in
food and drink. In 2004 he then extended the restaurant due to the
success of the concept and doubled in size and accommodated a bar.
In 2005 he formulated Deshi Liqueur Limited, the perfect conclusion
to an Indian feast, the concept of an Indian Coffee was created.
In 2006 Asad joined forces with Vakson Freehold Properties Dubai,
where his own Middle East Property portfolio commenced. He is the UK
agent for Dubai Properties.
In 2007 Deshi Liqueur Limited launched Deshi Cream, the only after
dinner liqueur of India. Asad will launch the India Dining Cook Book
in 2008 co directed with Executive Group Chef Rajeev Kumar.
