Andrea Accordi

Career : Accordi(31) began his career in Mantova. He then spent some time in London, Switzerland and Saint Tropez. He received his first Michelin Star as the chef of Onice Restaurant at Villa La Vedetta(2004) in Florence (Italy). Chef Andrea Accordi hails from Mantua, and undertook his early training in London, latterly at Toto's Restaurant in Knightsbridge under Anthony Genovese. He then moved to the Regent Hotel in Bangkok as consultant Italian chef, but took advantage of the locale to acquire an in-depth knowledge of Thai cuisine. And it is indeed his skill at melding the best of Tuscan ingredients with the herbs and spices of the Orient that earned him his star.

In 2007 he moved to Prague where (in 2008) received his second Michelin Star at Allegro at Four Seasons Hotel. It was the first Michelin Star in the so-called Eastern Block.
