Anand Sehgal

Career : Born 1954 in Amritsar in Punjab India, He started his career with the prestigious Hotel chain ITDC. Starting as apprentice and working for 15 years with the company’s master chefs picking up all the tips and techniques from all over the Indian sub-continent

Anand then travelled to Singapore, Thailand, Mongolia, China and Mexico to open the hotel group's new restaurants.

Anand then moved to Edinburgh in 2001 to open Oloroso with Tony Singh before moving to Roti when it opened in 2004. Anand now Heads the Roti kitchen in its new premises on Morrison street.
