Career : Before setting up Peppers, Abdul worked in a variety of other Indian restaurants in the city of Birmingham, particularly Broad Street (manager of Shimla Pinks for 6 years) and have always found it a very friendly and happening place.

He opened the first pan-Asian restaurant and Bollywood Champagne bar outside London - Peppers Restaurant and Bar - in March 2006 on Bishopgate Street at a launch event featuring Bollywood stars and dancers.

A sport fanatic, he spends most of his spare time in the gym or playing football, and relaxing with family and friends.
